Invited by OU Chinese Petroleum Association (OCPA), SPE Distinguished Lecturer Dr. Tao Yang visited OU MPGE on Sep. 21, 2017. Dr. Yang is a world-known and recognized reservoir technology specialist and has global reservoir engineering consulting experience for more than 200 fields. During his visit, Dr. Yang also had meetings with Dr. Chandra Rai, Chair of the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering, Dr. Ben Shiau, and Dr. Xingru Wu. Dr. Yang accepted the invitation as the industry advisor for OCPA. In the meeting with OCPA, Dr. Yang shared his extensive experiences and advices to Chinese students and scholars on how to develop a long-turn research and career goals in adownturn period.
