Well, it is officially my senior year. I am not sure if I have come to believe that to be true though. I am currently on my porch writing, doing homework, and listening to some of my favorite music in shorts and a sweatshirt, which is my all time favorite outfit. The weather has been absolutely beautiful this week so I have been staying outside as much as possible.

Not only do I get to wear my favorite outfit, but I have been drinking my favorite drink…pumpkin spice latte (for all you Starbucks lovers you know my excitement). But what is even more exciting than all of those things is the fact that it is 45 days until HOMECOMING.

As some of you may already know from previous blogs, I am the Campus Activities Council Homecoming Chair, meaning I am responsible and in charge of an executive team that makes Homecoming happen. This is our crunch time, so things have been a little hectic with Homecoming, school, activities, and the rest of my life!!

My favorite part of my college career has been the hectic times; the times when I don’t have time to stop and think about how crazy busy I am. I have loved and continue to love all of the meetings, emails, and time spent with friends. I have been involved with Homecoming since my freshman year and in 45 days, the center piece of my college career will be over. Weird.

It is time to start thinking about that next step and  for me that step is law school. Just like all of you I have been studying for forever for that standardized test (SAT, ACT, LSAT). It is odd going through this process all over again. I am looking at schools all over and will eventually have to go visit them and decide where I want to spend the next few years of my life. I thought I was done with this when I chose OU, but no, I am doing it all over again!! I hate how universities expect students to study for their current classes and prepare for a life changing test…I mean come on — where do we find the time? I am one of the best time managers I know, but I still struggle. It is so important to set aside time every day to practice these tests; they not only get you into schools, but they get you scholarships…moral of the story — STUDY!

Well, I am off to a Homecoming meeting! Make sure you go watch the chilling OU football intro video…I pledge allegiance to the Crimson and Cream!
