Alright kids, as I’m new to the world of Unwind this is my introductory “how do you do?” blog post.  My name is Abigail Hess, I’m a journalism graduate student, I love dogs, hate spiders, and have never actually been on a long walk on the beach…except for that time I got lost in Pensacola, and that really wasn’t all that much fun.

I’m going to be writing social commentary for you fine people, which means I’ll talk about dating, relationships, fashion, culture, and whatever else pops into my mind.

If you have a suggestion, lemme have it.  If you have a comment, lemme have it.  If you have a complaint, lemme have it…just be forewarned that you may then be the topic of my next snarky post.  I’m kidding.  Sort of.

All joking aside, I’m really excited to be writing for Unwind.  I love OU and I really love to write; this is absolutely the perfect gig for me, and I plan to do you proud.

So in the spirit of boredom and/or curiosity, check back in a few.  I may talk about bringing speed dating to Oklahoma, or whether the world will survive the swine flu, or those ridiculous neon sunglasses everybody’s wearing.  You just never know.

But be sure you really mean whatever you say, wear, or do on campus these days, because I’m everywhere, people…and I’m blogging about you.

Are you scared?  You should be.
