Web Comm hosted it’s first brown-bag workshop in a series we’ve dubbed “Web Comm Lunch and Punch” on Tuesday, November 16. We provide the punch, and you bring your lunch!
Over 35 people attended this workshop where we gave a formal introduction to the OU Campus Calendar. What a great group! And we received some helpful feedback too.
If you missed this first one, no worries! Check out the highlights video.
Ready for training? You can go to our training section on the Web Comm site to read about the calendar, and get started with the online training. And as we have said before, if you are interested in a departmental calendar please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Some items we are taking into consideration from our workshop feedback survey:
- Workshops covering blogging, google analytics, creating photos/videos for the web, and social media
- CMS User Group meetings that introduce new features and offer advanced CMS training
- Meeting attendees can pre-submit questions or areas of difficulty
- Location with more dependable wifi access
- Cheat-sheet with bullets
Thank you to everyone who attended! As a reminder for our future workshops you are always welcome to forward the Evite to other folks on campus you think would enjoy the talk. See you in January for the next Web Comm Lunch & Punch! Details coming soon!
