After the release of our snazzy new Foursquare Boomer badge, we had to do something fun to get students out there checking in on campus.
Introducing… our first #OU4SQ giveaway!
We have over 30 prize packages to give out from April 30-May 11. It will be fun to see which students are using foursquare and if the incentives work to make the giveaway a success.
We have identified some goals for the contest including: a hashtag reach (#OU4SQ) of 50,000, an increase of 100 followers on Twitter, and 250 followers on Foursquare. We are also gauging the social media accounts who donated prizes for the giveaway and their increase in followers as we announce the prizes and tweet them.
Overall, we are looking to give foursquare a more prominent presence on campus and get students out there exploring campus! We’ll let you know if this works. We have a feeling it will 😉
