Each week we’ll take a closer look at the humans who make up The University of Oklahoma’s Office of Web Communication, Marketing and New Media (#TeamWebComm).
Just a few minutes from Norman, the OKC Zoo is a living museum and botanical garden with world-class habitats and is home to a diverse animal collection of 1,900 species. With a new, state-of-the-art animal hospital under construction and membership base of more than 26,000, The Zoo participates in numerous cooperative Species Survival Plan projects and is dedicated to the conservation of rare and endangered wildlife.
That said, this week’s question is: Which animal at the OKC Zoo would you like to hang out with?
Here are our answers:
Erin Yarbrough, associate vice president: Baby gorilla. (Brb…can’t handle the cuteness.)
Tom Ashley, financial manager and assistant to the associate VP: Sea Lions. (Seal of approval.)

Drew Bernard, media specialist: Indian Rhinos (x 2!)
Jesse High, media specialist: Giraffe. (Tall and chill – just like Jesse.)
Dave Hoecker, technical architect: Eagle. (So many things.)

Until next week,
