Our Favorite Study Sessions

‘Tis the season for long hours of studying! Although December is supposed to be “the most wonderful time of the year,” it can also be the most stressful time of the year. Campus is packed with students finishing up projects and presentations, and studying for finals. With all the commotion, it can be tough to find the best environment to focus. But don’t fret! The interns in OU Housing and Food Services Marketing and Communications have come together to share their favorite study sessions. We hope you’ll find one that fits your study habits!

Favorite Study Drink: Starbucks Regular Coffee

Favorite Study Playlist: Coffeeshop Playlist on Spotify

“My favorite place to study and work on projects is the creative lab on the second floor of Gaylord. You don’t have to be a Gaylord student to use the space, and there are lots of different tables and chairs to use. I always find interesting people up there, and there is a study spot for every type of personality. If you like comfy chairs, they have them. If you like a traditional table or even a booth, they have that, too! They even have those colorful balls to sit on or prop up your feet.”

Favorite Study Spot: First Floor Lobby of Gould Hall

Favorite Study Drink: Vanilla Latte from The Bookmark

“Most of the time Gould Hall is empty and quiet, but not as quiet as the Great Reading Room. The decor is subtle, but cool, and makes me feel like I’m in my living room but productive at the same time.”
