Meet Your New Advancement Team

This year, we welcomed two new advancement officers to the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. We are thrilled to introduce you to your new Advancement Team!

Executive Director of Development –Stephanie Buettner

Stephanie Buettner has served the University of Oklahoma for over 12 years, most recently as the director of development for the Gallogly College of Engineering. In her role, she oversaw alumni and corporate relations to secure resources for many schools and programs. She launched the OU Women in Engineering program, the College’s young alumni group, and lead Gallogly College to two first place wins and three years of having the largest new donors on OU Giving Day. Stephanie currently serves on the executive committee for the Engineering Development Forum.

A two-time graduate of the University of Oklahoma, she has earned her bachelor’s in public relations and master’s in public administration. Stephanie is passionate about her involvement in the community as a member of Leadership OKC and a graduate of LOYAL Class VIII. She serves on the board of session for the First Presbyterian Church of Norman, and fundraising committee for the Heart of Oklahoma chapter of Camp Fire USA. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys traveling, camping, and kayaking with her husband James and son, Hunter.

tyler junellDirector of Development -Tyler Junell

Tyler joins us from the Sooner Club, where he worked in annual giving and supported renewal, upgrade and expansion of the premium seating program at the stadium. He also worked with donors to secure capital gifts related to the athletic department’s Champions of Magic facility enhancement campaign.
