School of Geosciences professor Doug Elmore was named the 2020 recipient of the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy’s Distinguished Service Award. The award recognizes alumni, friends or entities who honor the legacy of the University of Oklahoma through service to the Mewbourne College, their industry or their communities. Awardees are recognized on an annual basis. Dr. Elmore’s friends, family, colleagues and former students gathered for a virtual celebration to thank him for the many ways he has impacted their lives.
