OU Alumnus Receives Honor from the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma

Kim Hatfield, CEO of Crawley Petroleum and Crawley Ventures in Oklahoma City, was named the inaugural recipient of the Petroleum Alliance’s Legacy Award at the Alliance’s 2021 Annual Meeting. This was the first award given by the Alliance since the the merger of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association (OIPA) and the Oklahoma Oil and Gas Association (OKOGA) that created the Petroleum Alliance.

“Kim Hatfield has repeatedly exhibited leadership at the University of Oklahoma with both his service and financial support,” said J. Mike Stice, dean of the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. “Thanks to Kim’s support, students have received mentorships and scholarships, faculty have received grant dollars and data to conduct research and administrators have received his wide counsel over many years. I am so very thankful to have Kim Hatfield as my friend.

Hatfield holds a bachelor’s in petroleum engineering and a master’s in petroleum finance from the University of Oklahoma. He also sits on the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy’s Board of Visitors. Learn more about his award here.
