The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the American Association of Drilling Engineers was pleased to present scholarships to eight OU students for the 2014-15 academic year. October 27-29, the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) was held in Amsterdam. Faruk Civan is the 2014 recipient of the Reservoir Description and Dynamics Award by the Society of Petroleum Engineers. This award recognizes outstanding achievements in or contributions to the advancement of petroleum engineering in the area of reservoir description and dynamics.
