MPGE Alumnus Honored as CEO

MPGE alumnus and Industry Advisory Board member Ronnie Irani has been recognized by The Journal Record as one of Oklahoma’s Most-Admired CEO’s. Irani is the founder and CEO of RKI Exploration and Production. He is known throughout the industry as a “take charge” kind of guy during times of adversity. While still in its early years, RKI faced the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009. While many businesses failed during this period, RKI was able to raise more than $200 million in private equity capital and acquire strategic oil land in New Mexico and Texas. RKI has since become a strong Oklahoma corporation that shares its success through involvement with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and the American Red Cross. Irani is dedicated to education and is involved with not only MPGE’s Industry Advisory Board but, also, the Oklahoma Energy Resource Board (OERB), founding their PetroTech program, which offers technical training to those seeking careers in the oil and gas industry. It is with pride that MPGE watches the success of its graduates, and we are especially honored to call Ronnie Irani one of our own.
