Misra on Speaking Tour

MPGE’s newest member of faculty, Siddarth Misra, will be presenting a series of talks to Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) across the nation. He will be speaking on Petrophysical Interpretation of Electromagnetic Measurements in Clay- and Pyrite-Bearing Formations. His engagements will cover: the University of Texas, Colorado School of Mines, the Pittsburgh Association of Petroleum Geologists, and SPWLA chapters in OKS, North Texas, Denver and OU. Misra holds a Ph.D. (2015) and M.S.E. (2014) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his B.Tech. (2007) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. From 2007 to 2010, he worked for Halliburton Energy Services as a Wireline Field Engineer.
