Hajirezaie Takes 2nd in Student Research Competition

MPGE Master’s student, Sassan Hajirezaie, placed 2nd in the engineering category of the 2016 Student Research and Creativity Day hosted by OU’s Graduate College. With over sixty-five entries, this year’s SRCD was a huge success in showcasing the broad range of graduate research taking place across OU. Sassan is in his second year of the program and studies under Associate Professor Xingru Wu. His poster was entitled, Formation Damage Resulting from Scale Formation and its Impact on Reservoir Performance During Water Flooding. MPGE faculty Professor Chandra Rai, Associate Professor Deepak Devegowda and Assistant Professor Mashhad Fahes served as judges for this campus-wide event.
