  1. Ah Sonya — Jim and Betty Brown here (OLD members of First Presbytertian Church in Norman) We just received an email from one of our long-time friends, Salam Al-Rbeawi, who was so delighted to see you at the OU room recently in Dubai. I tutored his wife (Sabah) in English for several years while they were here for Salam’s Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and we became lifetime connections. Oh how much I wish they could return to the U.S. but in today’s climate, chances are that this will not happen. This news of your meeting half-way-around the world led me to look up this wonderful photo and say HELLO. Glad to know that you are still “on the job” at Newbourne and we send our best wishes. You look MARVELOUS!
