Sadly, I am just getting started with this whole blogging process, but they always say “better late than never,” don’t they? Anyway, my name is Christine, but I am more commonly know as Chrissy! I am a freshman and a Public Relations major (hopefully that doesn’t change), currently enrolled in 14 hours.

College, thus far, has been nothing short of adventurous. There is ALWAYS something going on on campus so you are definitely never left bored. Unless you’re into that sort of thing, I guess. My days recently have be overtaken by homework, pomping for homecoming with my lovely AOII sisters (yes, I went GREEK), U-Sing practice, philanthropy events, date parties, movie nights in the Union, laundry, hanging out with my fabulous best friends/ roommate(s), going to football games, and trying to find time to sleep. Although trying to work everything into my schedule is challenging, it has all already paid off. You surprisingly learn a lot about yourself while you’re trying to find time to do all these random things.

I promise to follow up on most of these things in upcoming posts, but for tonight, my plans include: relaxing with a Dr. Pepper, eating some cupcakes, and making a tower out of my textbooks. These are the glorious rewards of doing your homework early in the evening! 🙂

Peace, Love, and BOOMER SOONER!

Hello Chrissy. Read your blog, short and simple, but I liked it. School has been very important to me. I am Mescalero Apache and live on the reservation. It’s crazy, like I said school is very important to me and I have an opportunity of a lifetime for college. OU and one scholarship is what i’ve strived for since junior high. I knew what I wanted since 8th grade and I achieve my goals. Now just graduated from high school and fall is looking mighty fine OU BOUND. Looking back I trip out, just thinking all I went through. It was hard, but I DID IT! I already miss high school, just the fact that my senior was the BOMB! HA! High school is a stepping stone, I know college has something in store for me. All the stuff that goes down and all that seems fun. In the fall i’ll be a freshman at OU!!!That sounds pretty dope. LOL!
