mmmmm… Chipotle

Warning: there will be begging.

Let me start this off by saying: if you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing-ness that is Chipotle (in my opinion – the hands-down best of the burrito-fanatic restaurants), please take a few minutes to ask yourself why. There’s a new one open near Penn Square mall on Northwest Expressway. Go. Get in your car right now and go. And, for those of you who don’t like Chipotle (my husband) – all I have to say is: suck it.

Similar to the rumors of an Ikea opening up in Edmond or the obligatory Olive Garden opening up in small town, USA, why can’t we also start a rumor? I mean, don’t those rumors spark public interest? Why shouldn’t everyone get to dream of burrito-goodness with “unprocessed, family-farmed, sustainable, naturally raised and organic “ ingredients  piled high with a mountain of limey guac?

Consider this public plea for Chipotle to realize the opportunity we have within the city walls of Norman, OK. Oh believe me – I’ve made this plea directly to the mother-ship. I think they’re sick of hearing from me. And, sure – there’s a chance that I’m a bit more of a fanatic than the average Chipotle fan. But, didn’t it take someone like William Wallace to lead the fight for Scotland? I bet Scotland has a Chipotle…

Beg here

Freebirds was not good at all when I tried them last week! The chicken was spiced weirdly and the rice was smushy. The cheese sauce congeled before I even had a chance to sit down at a table. The employees were super nice but other than that I spent 20.00 for 2 burritos and chips. Chipotle is far superior to Moe’s, Freebirds or Qdoba! No matter what city, state, zip code I find a Chipotle in they are always great. Their service is fast and accurate and they have the freshest and best tasting ingredients. I can’t wait until the Norman location opens!
