OU MPGE was represented at the 2018 SPE International Conference and Exhibition on Formation Damage Control. The conference was held in Lafayette, Louisiana on Feb. 7-9. The publication How Does Mixing Water Quality Affect Cement Properties (F. Salehi, R. Rivera, S. Salehi, C. Teodoriu, University of Oklahoma; A. Ghalambor, Oil Center Research Intl.) from the OU MPGE department was recognized as one of the author highlights on the conference website.
Assistant professor Salehi also served as steering committee member and finance chairman of SPE international conference, a position he has held since 2015.
