I did not go to OU/Texas.
In fact, I did not watch a single minute of the game. Why? I was a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding.. thus, I was busy, busy, busy from 9 – 5. My sadness of missing the game was trumped by the amazingness that is Bono and Fergie Ferg the following Sunday. Here are some shots I got with my 6 pixel camera.

I heard rumors that it took 150 semi-trucks to bring in all the pieces to put this “spaceship” set together. Some say 250 though….

U2 dedicated their song “Walk On” to Aung San Suu Ky, who is under house arrest in Myanmar – this is a mask of her face for everyone to wear during that song.

When the Black Eyed Peas stepped out for the first time, I kind of lost my breath. Sounds kind of lame, but I had never been so close to such celebrities without them looking like ants. They were so close!

Fergie’s voice was incredible! She sounds even better, live.

What makes a 360 concert the best concert you’ll ever experience? The fact that the Edge walks across a bridge and plays the guitar right in front of you!

…And Bono of course! (I still can’t believe I was this close to him)

The bridges they walked on moved around. The Edge was on bridge, and Bono on the other… They were on opposites sides of the stage and then the bridges came together so they could give each other high fives. SO COOL.
I have about 100 more photos, but I will spare you.
I feel very lucky, and I’m sure everyone else that was able to go felt the same way.
duude….I wish I could see a gig like that.
