We’re all sitting in class waiting for our history professor to start the class. We’re sitting in pretty much the same seats we all sat in on day 1, making small talk with the people around us. I get my laptop out as I see the professor opening the day’s powerpoint presentation. Just another day of notes. She walks to the middle of the stage, though, to make a brief announcement that rocked my world.

Lately, I’ve been feeling very inspired by my classmates, whether it be through their creative ideas or detailed illustrations, I could look at my friend’s artwork for days. Recently, my friend Thomas Shahan went on The Today Show (Yeah, like  the three hour show in New York City with Al Roker and Matt Lauer, THAT Today Show) to talk about his awesome insect photos he has taken. Wow… a thought in many heads at this point in the year. Wow, where did September and October go? Wow, this semester is almost over and Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! Wow, I have tests and papers to think about, and I still haven’t filled out college applications. Yikes.

All this being known, I encourage everyone at this point in the year to do a little check. Have we accomplished the things we set out to in January? What more do we want to do before 2009 comes to an end. If we think and act now, there still may be time. Hey there, everyone!

Hope all is well. I’ll just jot down a quick update about how things are going so far for myself. I just took a Calc exam earlier this week and have two exams next week. I have been studying, studying, studying, and studying! AAHHH!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

Hello Prospective Students!

I am finally back again. Sorry it took so long for me to write, I have been super-duper busy with midterms and such. I am almost sure that you are having an awesome senior year, and right about now, you all are ready for another break!! I must say, you all [aren’t] the only ones! I know that this point in your life is stressful because you are making your decisions as to which path to actually travel down. Also, I know your parents are probably hounding you into picking a university ASAP. Just a word of advice, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE visit the university, talk to some of the students, and get a feel for the school before making your final decision. A University is where you will spend the next four years or more of your life, depending on your major/career plans. You might as well love being there while having to slave over your schoolwork day and night! While trying to fill out scholarship applications, FASFA worksheets, signing up for Sooner Saturday (which is Nov. 21st BTW), and (hopefully) polishing up your University of Oklahoma application, I know that it may all be overwhelming! Breathe. Relax. Inhale. Exhale. Moving on –>
